Reformer Pilates in English, in Punta del Este
Small-group and private classes on reformer beds, taught in English by the same instructor who teaches in Spanish. No Spanish needed, no enrollment fee, and the partner who does speak it can join the same class.
How the English classes work
It is the same fifty-minute class on reformer beds, with the same instructor who teaches in Spanish. What changes is the language of the cues and the corrections, nothing else: the group stays small, the progression starts where you are, and the work is the same.
There are mixed classes too: one time slot, each person corrected in their own language. That is the option for couples and friends where one speaks Spanish and the other does not, and who want to come together without anyone being left out.
Times are built around your week rather than posted as a fixed grid. Tell us which days work for you and we suggest a spot in English, in Spanish or mixed.
Who comes
Punta del Este has a growing number of people who moved here for good and still think in English: retirees from the United States and Europe, families here for work, Argentines back from years abroad. And every summer, visitors who do not want to drop the routine for six weeks.
- Residents who want to stay mobile and strong without the language barrier of a gym.
- Visitors from December to February, on drop-in classes with no lock-in.
- Couples and friends where one speaks Spanish and the other English.
- Anyone who wants low-impact strength at a pace that respects their joints and their history.
Private, duo or small group
Private when there is a diagnosis or a recent surgery and the class has to be built around one body. Duo for two people who come together, each in the language they prefer. Small group for whoever is already moving and wants consistency, with corrections one person at a time.
None of the options carries an enrollment fee or a lock-in, and the first class commits you to nothing.
Your first class
No experience and no equipment needed. Comfortable clothes, grip socks or bare feet, and five minutes early to set up your reformer with the instructor. If you are coming with someone who speaks Spanish, say so and the class runs in both languages from day one.
Just here for the season
If you are in Punta del Este for a few weeks, drop-in classes work without a plan and without commitment. Message us before you land with the dates you will be here and we hold the spots; payment is settled at the first class.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any Spanish?
No. The class is taught in English, the cues and the corrections are in English, and the booking happens on WhatsApp in English. Spanish is there if you want to practise it, never required.
Can my partner take the class in Spanish?
Yes, in the same time slot and the same group. Each of you gets the cues and the corrections in your own language. It is the format couples ask for most.
Is there a drop-in option for visitors?
Yes. A drop-in class has no plan and no lock-in, which is what a holiday needs. The price is published on the pricing page.
How much does it cost?
Every price is published on the pricing page, in Uruguayan pesos: drop-in, monthly plans, private and duo. No enrollment fee.
How do I book?
On WhatsApp. Tell us what you are after and which days work, and we come back with a time, a format and the price in the same chat.
